Wow, my topics for blog posts just exploded this week! It’s not that I don’t have anything to write about, it’s that there’s to much!
To deal with this situation in the old blog (friends-only) I’d either do what I like to call a “core dump” and write briefly about everything in one very long post, or I’d do a whole bunch of little posts. I really don’t want make one huge entry about all of my tangents, and I think each topic deserves more than a sound bite. So I’ll lumber along with the huge backlog of topics.
While I’m talking about the bog, lets talk about the audience here. I have coworkers, friends, family, and my Grandmother (Hi Grandma!) reading this blog. Of the people I know who are reading this, there is a wide range of generational context and internet savvy. This is why sometimes I point out the obvious (to some). This also inspires me to write in a totally different way than I did on the old blog.
One of the things I used to do in the old blog was report my weekly fitness activities. While it’s probably a little dry and disinteresting to actually read, it did help keep me accountable and motivate me to keep it up. I think it’s time to re-instate that.
Okay, I think I have some momentum now! Off to compose some posts!
