Alright, I admit it it. I did not succeed at my first attempt at Blog365. I got a little behind, and then I felt bad about being behind which triggered my avoidance defense, and I failed.
The cool thing about having 1001 days in which to complete these tasks is I can try again, when I feel like starting again. I can restart the project any time before Day 636 on Thursday, September 29, 2010. I think I’m going to wait until my birthday or some other significant-to-me date to restart, just in case I need a few more false starts.
I’m pretty sure this is because I had to many things on my list. My Project365:2009A was also a fail. I didn’t get pictures on 2/7-8. I made up for it (I’m making up my own rules here) by drawing pictures of things I should have/could have taken a picture of those days. This allows me to try to keep up my momentum, which should make an official restart easier for me.
While trying to upload and organize pictures, I discovered that the date on my camera was wrong. I thought I’d fixed it, but I just made it “better.” I’ve fixed what I can on flickr, but the whole purpose of the Project365 was to learn, and boy did I learn a few things. bleh.
I’m going to go compose a post about something pleasant now…
