Pretty good picture considering it’s an iphone picture. The recipe is here at everyday food. I used a bar of bittersweet and a bar of semi-sweet Scharffenberger chocolate for the first batch, and it was divine. I used Ghirardelli the second time, and I didn’t like it as much. I think I’ll increase the ratio of bitter to semi-sweet chocolate. I’ve been using an 8-inch square glass pan because I don’t own the 9-inch pan the recipe calls for. This makes a much deeper and slightly more chewy brownie.
I’m on a bit of a cooking kick at the moment. We got our first three CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) boxes this month. We’ve been flush with artichokes, mushrooms, broccoli, beets, and lettuce. I got a few organic tomatoes from Whole Foods, and they were quite delicious with the salad.
I’ve baked ciabatta bread, too. I have a fresh batch to make tonight, so I’ll post pictures tomorrow.
