glee

I really don’t watch TV. This isn’t because of some sort of moral superiority, it’s because I over-empathize with the characters on TV. Whatever they are emoting, I feel it as though it’s happening to me, or at least to someone I’m close to. It’s horrible and draining and it gives me a headache. I also have a tendency to run off and read the plot summary for whatever we’re watching on the wikipedia, and ruin the ending for the people I’m watching TV with. So I just avoid the whole thing. This kinda sucks because I really want to see TV shows like Mad Men, but every time I try to watch, I wind up giving myself a headache and driving Rob nuts.

I can handle watching Glee. It drives me nuts, but it’s entertaining and short, and at least I have something current to talk about.

What do I do with all of the time I’d otherwise spend watching TV? I read blogs. Hundreds of blogs.
